Going “No Contact” – Understanding & Living through Family Estrangement
When a person decides to cut contact with one or more family members, there are often huge challenges for the estrangee(s), the estranger(s) and the family system. This forum will offer common reasons for this growing epidemic, as well as recommendations to help both estrangees and estrangers to heal and adapt. Possible paths to reconciliation will also be discussed.
Presented by Edie Mannion, LMFT, family therapist at DBT of Greater Philadelphia.
