“My Missing Screw” Film & Discussion

Join Kaiserman JCC, JFCS of Greater Philadelphia, and Tikvah for a screening of the Israeli documentary “My Missing Screw.”

“My Missing Screw” explores how a young father, Rafael Lomas, uses his art to heal, cope after a failed, suicide attempt and time in a psychiatric hospital. Rafael decides to sculpt his own “missing screw” and take it on an epic, poignant, often hilarious journey around the world – but his son feels abandoned. Can Rafael reinvent himself, his art, and his family?

Accompanying the screening, there will be a discussion on creating positive mental practices for our lives.
